I am so sore right now...

So we had our first football game of the season. I went because I told my brother I'd help with the pit(marching band thing lol) so I went. I would've gone even if I hadn't promised to help though, mainly to watch the marching band. I'm such a band groupie! But anyway, the cheerleaders are dumb. We have to go to the 50 yard line to put the pit stuff up, and they decided to sit there and watch the dance team. They know we have to put the stuff there! But the freshman up front were all worried about what we should do, so me and my friend told them to run them over, the rest will move. They were still all worried so me and my friend walked up and started yelling "Move!" and, lo and behold, they moved! Took them a while but they did! Now how hard was that!? But they're freshman, they'll learn how to yell at the cheerleaders, you have to do it a lot during games because they sit at the 50 yard line a lot.

And the game... oh god the game! I went a little crazy during it, so now everything is sore, it even hurts to type! But my head hurts too, along with my throat and my voice is dying. The game went into 3 overtimes! 3!! So, me being me, I kept screaming and going crazy even after my throat started hurting. I was even singing the band songs really loud. But during the overtime, our catcher person missed 2 throws in the end zones while he was wide open!! How does that happen!? Both teams kept barely missing so it got really annoying but fun anyways. After a while, we scored and so naturally we went nuts. But the other team had a chance to score so me and Nikki went to the bathroom because we figured they were gonna get the field goal kick. We came out a few minutes later and a bunch of people were leaving. Turns out one of our guys managed to block it! I was sooo pissed I missed it, but it's probably a good that I did because my voice would be even worse.

But I do miss being in marching band. I never even got the chance to run over a judge, which is everyone's goal in marching band, But seriously, we are told if they get in our way, we're supposed to run them over. If we move for them, we get docked points. But if we run them over, we usually get more points because the judge feels bad for getting in our way.  Freshman year we almost killed a judge lol. There was a point in the show where we march really fast into a tiny circle, like shoulders touching and everything. Well the judge was basically in the middle of where we're supposed to clump together. He barely escaped, I've never seen anyone run that fast!

Wow, I am really rambly right now, sorry! If you're still reading this, thank you, sorry if I bored you! I am so exhausted though, and not in the "I want to sleep way" I'm not even tired and it's past midnight...
